Boyfriend came back with a more masculine and princely image with “Don’t Touch My Girl,” on October 6, 2011. With the stronger concept and manly lyrics, this attracted more attention to the group, especially from women. Or at least that’s what I think. I know I paid more attention. HAHA

So, why is Boyfriend a noona killer? Well for one, they are also absolutely adorable. Boyfriend won over hearts of many females when they debuted, when they came out asking to be your boyfriend. How cute is that? They are young: ranging in ages between 17 and 23. Although leader Donghyun is in his 20s, he still has a youthful appearance and is a charismatic leader. People were also able to see his change from a rebellious teenager to a mature man, after being on the show Conduct Zero. The twins are, of course, a favorite amongst fans. Who doesn’t love cute twins? They got their start in over 300 CFs as young boys, and their cuteness only continued. The Jo twins are also known for their resemblance to fan favorite, Kim Hyun Joong. The group has been able to transition between a cute group, to a more masculine and grown-up look. Minwoo has recently gained attention for his 6-pack abs, which is surprising due to his cute appearance and being the maknae of the group. Boyfriend’s dancing ability is also impressive, often being fast-paced, and conveying a more masculine feel, even if the song is cute. The group is nearing the age of majority, and with this, they have matured in style, appearance, and their music. Boyfriend is also becoming a hot commodity in the modeling-commercial market, as well as variety shows, which only increases their visibility as a group. This is bound to gather them more noona fans, who either have the hots for them, or wish they had brothers/sons like them.
